Six Degrees of Separation shrinks down to One when you know a Realtor

Naturally Realtors are in a position to hook their clients up with contractors, lenders or moving companies, but more often than not, we help and connect people in all kinds of other situations, too. We work with so many different entities that we're the perfect people to create connections.

I was recently able to match a seller who had to pack up her household goods, with buyers, who just moved in and had a garage full of boxes to get rid of.

On another occasion I was able to direct a friend of a friend, looking for a rental home, to one of my military clients, who needed to rent her home because they were being relocated by the Army.

Another client who was moving here with three horses found a horse transport through one of my horse property sellers I introduced her to. A new-in- town client who didn't know anybody, met some of my friends at my Christmas party, who she now plays tennis with.

When a buyer mentioned that he really liked a particular gated community that currently had no listings on the market, I called one of my previous clients in that community, who was able to tell us of a neighbor who had plans to put his home on the market in the near future.

As Realtors we know our community and we're natural match makers. I haven't actually arranged a romantic match yet, but I'm sure that will happen eventually. It's a great job!
