Wildlife lover? Pacific Northwest Native? Patriotic American? Audubon?

Each area across the country offers a little something for everyone, but in Washington State, we take care of everything in one fantastic package...

These photos were taken on my parents' beach. They have a wonderful waterfront log cabin. My son adores playing on the beach, and his Grand-dad enjoys spending time out there with him looking for agates. Rain or shine, cold or warm, they go out on "their" beach.

The day these photos were taken, they decided to stay close to the house, so as not to disturb the incredible five (yes, five) symbols of America sitting on the beach out front. That's right, bald eagles. They nest every year in an huge cedar in the woods behind the house. Bald eagles are a common sight in Bremerton.eagles on the beacheagles on the beach 2
