With much anticipation, I’m excited that the battle of the Giants and the Patriots is almost here with Super Bowl XLVI happening this Sunday. I am really looking forward to this match-up this year as it looks like it will be an exciting and intense game.
Super Bowl Sunday is also an annual tradition at our house. We are avid football fans and love the game, but we also critique, discuss, debate and judge all the great commercials; we hold our breath during the National Anthem as well as during the half-time show to see if there are any major blunders; and we do all of this with five hours worth of nibbles, chips and dip!
Do you celebrate Super Bowl Sunday? Do you have a Super Bowl party? Did you buy a new TV for the event? Who are you rooting for?
My home team is the Seattle Seahawks, and I wish they were playing in the Super Bowl, but I found that my home town has some Super Bowl spirit.
For Giants’ fans, we have many homes on Manning Lane in north Olympia.
For Patriots’ fans, we have Patriots Landing in DuPont, WA.
But if you are not a Patriots fan nor a Giants fan, you may be happy to know that Tim Tebow of the Denver Broncos was voted to be celebrity most would like as a neighbor in a recent Zillow.com survey.
