Kitsap County Real Estate Market Data - Last 12 Months.
Here is the real estate market data for the year for all of Kitsap County. You can see the year that was 2011 and then compare January 2011 to January 2012.
This first chart shows you the Sold Properties by month in Kitsap County Looks like we started the year slow and then ended on a higher note, but then again started 2012 slow.
This next chart shows what the median sold price by month was for Kitsap County. Prices seemed to stay semi steady but look at the drop in January 2012. I do believe this is due to the increase in foreclosures.
Here is a chart that shows what a Kitsap County Home was originally listed for and then what it actually sold for. We are still listing homes at a higher market price than buyers are willing to pay. This shows the buyers are dictating the sales price.
This chart shows us how many homes went under contract during the months. Once a home goes under contract the closing time will vary between 30 days and usually 60, of course short sales can really skew this figure. We have started 2012 off with a bang!
Here is the data showing how many homes were new to the market each month. Always slow in December with the holidays and back to a strong number in January 2012.
