I just lost my title rep. One of the good ones has decided to move on.
My wife was also my title representative. Not just because she is my wife but because she was always the consummate pro I am sad to see her leave the industry. Why am I blogging about another person leaving? I am blogging about it for two reasons
What do we do when one of our vendors moves on? Do you have a backup plan?
What do you do when you lose a vendor for any reason? I have a couple of mortgage lenders that I work with. What would I do if I lost that trusted relationship that my clients have found to be so valuable? What if my printing company went out of business? How do you handle the natural ebb and flow of business relationships?
I find it very easy to maintain working relationships with my vendors. Yet, I know I should always be looking for more opportunities. How do you balance your loyalty? I get and give referrals to my vendors who I work best with. In our current market I wonder what I need to be doing to keep my eyes open for other opportunities whiles still being loyal. I have been struggling with this recently and I am hoping that you the reader will let me know how you handle this.
Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad has a new sales director
One of our areas lesser known treasures is the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad. Want to ride on a steam train and see some of the great sights around Mt. Rainier? If you answered yes then you need to take a ride on the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad! Felecia Cowan is the new sales director for the railroad. Lucky me I get to go and ride the train and learn more about railroads than I ever thought possible.
If you live in the Pacific Northwest and you like trains you need to come to Elbe Washington and take a ride on the historic trains. You can find out more about the Mt. Rainier Scenic Railroad by visiting their website.
