It is with deep sadness I write this post. A friend and colleague of mine and my husbands was involved in a scuba diving accident last Saturday, November 1st. Somehow Lou became separated from his dive group and was finally found after 30 minutes underwater and unconscious. It took paramedics another 30 minutes to get his heart beating again. Because of the lack of oxygen, Lou suffered massive brain damage and the doctors gave him no hope of recovery. His mother arrived in the country on Monday and held on to hope and prayers that Lou would come back. Sadly, last night they removed him from life support.
We have known Lou Tran for the past 10 years, he was the "hardwood guy" we referred everyone to for hardwood flooring needs. Lou was only 30 years old and had two small children. A blog posted by his sister Lila, offers her final thoughts on her brother. It just doesn't seem fair sometimes how life plays out! I have to wonder.......Why Lou?
In honor of our friend, I ask that everyone pray for Lou's family, especially his two young kids. It breaks my heart to know they've just lost their daddy. At the hospital one of the kids asked "Hows daddy going to take us to school now?"
Rest in Peace Lou
