Northgate Park & Ride Will Soon Be Just A Park!
Join Mayor Nickels and the Northgate neighborhood at the groundbreaking/ground chalking event for the Hubbard Homestead Park. This Parks and Green Spaces Levy project converts the parking lot at 5th Ave NE and NE 112th St into a wonderful new park. On Saturday, September 26, 2009 from 10:30 a.m. - 12:30 p.m. help fill in the "paint by numbers" chalk rendition of the park. The morning will be full of community art, light refreshments and information on the innovative transformation of this park.
