Real estate sales improved in June 2010 as compared to June 2009

The sales of homes, townhomes, condos and co-ops were higher than a year ago according to the National Association of REALTORS®.

The price was 1% higher than a year ago.

The article shows national statistics as well as regional.

In the West: even though sales fell, they were still 0.9% higher than in June 2009. Median price in June 2010 was 1.5% above June 2009.

In King County sales rose 11% and sale price was 1% higher in June 2010 as compared to June 2009.
