Halloween around Seattle -Where to take the little ones for great Seattle Neighborhood Halloween Events
Halloween comes to us on a Monday this year while the kiddies are in the beginning of a school week. I always wished they would have just made it so it landed on Friday every year, but a Monday this year it is.
Seattle neighborhoods always put on great Halloween trick or treating events. The following are some of my favorites for Monday and in no particular order:
1. Queen Anne Trick Or Treating 2011:
From the Greater Queen Anne Chamber of Commerce:
"Trick or Treat on QA Avenue
Bring your little pumpkins and enjoy trick or treating along Queen Anne Avenue.
Free goodies and smiles galore.
Please remember to thank your local merchants by shopping locally the rest of the year.
The treats are provided by merchants out of their own pockets as a thank you to the
Queen Anne community."
2. Magnolia Trick Or Treating 2011:
From the Magnolia Chamber of Commerce:
Magnolia Village Halloween Trick or Treat - Monday, Oct. 31st, 4-6
West McGraw Street between 32nd & 35th Avenues
Main Magnolia Village streets are closed so that there is a great safe place to trick or treat for all.

Many of the businesses will be handing out healthy, nutritional alternatives. Activities and fun for the whole family. Support the Wallingford Center Merchants Association’s fall food drive by bringing a non-perishable donation to benefit FamilyWorks Food Bank. Food drive runs 10/31 – 11/20."
