Gas Works Park is about a mile down Wallingford Ave from the neighborhood's busy urban center and there are several other parks right in that area as well! Wallingford has one of the best combinations I have seen in Seattle in regards to schools, parks, urban centers, commute ease, and more, and the homes are gorgeous, too.
