Archie McPhee - my favorite place to take my kiddies when we lived in Sunset Hill, but loving the new Wallingford location! Archie McPhee is my number one choice for a cheap day out with the kids if you want to do something fun. Just give them a little budget and send them in the store - makes for hours of fun!
This place has bacon band aids and cowboy trash cans, lots of chickens and devil ducks - it is a novelty store at its very finest and I even saw the stuff form this store featured in a really cute recent film Outsourced.
Archie McPhee's new Wallingford Seattle WA location is perfect right on the corner of 45th and Stone - in the heart of this wonderful Seattle neighborhood (looking at Wallingford homes?). You can also follow them on Twitter @ArchieMcPhee
Archie has been a Seattle staple for over two decades and going strong - young and old love to visit this store and see what they have for us! Want a huge collection of funny snow globes? They are here! How about Squirrel underpants? Yes, they are here too - one of my favorites is the boss toss - they have a funny little catapult that flings tiny little plastic bosses across the room. Or you can buy the pig version aka the pig a pult:) Seriously, just come in and see what they have!
