"Wholesale Sports" - Local Business in Kitsap County WA

As you know from my past articles, I am a huge crabbing enthusiast. Here in the waters of Puget Sound, the prized Dungeness Crab is plentiful, and can be easily caught with the proper gear. crabbing-in-the-hood-canal-wa

In years past, we had several local options on where you could purchase your crabbing gear supplies.

Unfortunately, several of these suppliers have either gone out of business or are in the midst of bankruptcy proceedings.

With the opening of recreational crabbing season soon to come to the Hood Canal and other waterways of the Puget Sound, where can a guy/gal buy their crabbing gear supplies?

For all the current lowdown on crabbing on Hood Canal WA and options on where to purchase your crabbing gear, go to CrabbingInTheHood.com (opens up into a separate window for your viewing ease).

Rich, while the Hood Canal bridge was closed in May/June my husband and I drove 10 round trips from Sequim to Seattle for family reasons. I had forgotten how beautiful that drive is. Going to check out Crabbing in the Hood now. We'll soon be having lots of traffic to the Peninsula and I'd like to recommend to my clients that they take a day to drive over via the Hood Canal route and savor the the sights and food.

Cool - theres not much I love more then crab - but I've never gone crabbing.....I'll have to do that drive again one day soon.......nice focus on a community business!

Hi Rich... I am coming to visit you Washington for my crabbing experience!  I'll check out www.CrabbingInTheHood.com before I come to visit! :)

Sherry:   Nice of you to drop by! It's great to see some more West Sound agents stepping up to the blogging plate, so to speak. Welcome to ActiveRain community! This is an awesome place to get your blog feet wet and become immersed in the use of social media. Let me know if I can be of any help to you along the way!

Liz & Steve:   The porch light is always on and the invite ever extended to spend the day on Hood Canal and pork out on Dungies!

Thihs would be a blast.  I've never done it.  Have ou?  It'd be a blast for me. I love trying new things.  Is this a big hobby for the folks out west?

Rich,

I used to go crabbing years ago, just off a local dock. We always came home with some good crabs. It is fun when the water is so clear you can watch them head for the star trap.

Good Day. The freethinking of one age is the common sense of the next.
I am from Saudi and now teach English, give true I wrote the following sentence: "Oct call for proposals for statewide family conference. But the real winners and losers live many thousands of miles away, where the profits from the nightly ritual of numbers calling fundwhat critics describe as a form of ethnic cleansing by extremistorganisations."

With best wishes :p, Douglass.
