Homes for Heroes is happy to introduce our new Affiliate, Laura Wells!

“From the first time I heard about Homes for Heroes I knew that I wanted to be involved. I joined Homes For Heroes as a Lender Affiliate for a better opportunity to support our community. Now I can have a greater impact and give a larger contribution. By joining efforts with Realtors, we together can contribute more than ever before.

Coming from a family of Military Heroes, from every branch of service including police; it was a natural fit for me to participate in Homes for Heroes. I did not have the honor of serving like my family; this is my way to serve. With 20 years of industry and a lifetime of military experience, I understand the immediate need to sell or buy due to a change in station or change in career location. I have seen first-hand the many sacrifices being made by our armed forces. I also have many friends and family members who have served our country as firefighters, police officers, teachers, health care workers, and clergy. I have a great respect for them putting the welfare of others before their own.

It is a privilege to support all of our Heroes in such a practical way, through the Homes for Heroes program, helping them with one of the most important endeavors before them, buying and selling their new or existing home.Professionally, I have been looking for an organization that allows me to give back and I know Homes for Heroes can definitely provide me with the tools to do just that!”
