The Overlook on Tumwater Hill

The Overlook on Tumwater Hill.

In my fifteen years of listing and selling real estate in Washington State, I have never come across homes that had a deliberate roof top deck. Most roof tops that allowed access came through a window where you are actually on the roof looking down to the ground.

Carbon River Homes really made a splash in the Thurston County real estate market by introducing a totally new concept of building eco friendly homes with roof top decks.

The idea started a few years ago with Carbon River Homes. They were brainstorming new ideas of what to build at a view property they owned at the very top of Tumwater Hill. Carbon River Homes wanted to build a home that would be totally different and standout as unique. Looking around, it was obvious that the building industry was building homes that all looked like any other neighborhood in Washington. The contemporary homes they built atop Tumwater Hill were exactly their vision.

Location, Location, Location! These totally cool homes are located in the hub of commuter ease and have some of the best views of Budd Bay, the Capitol, the Olympic Mountains, Mt Rainier and so much more.

The interior designs are functional and easy to live in and with their upgraded heating, hot water tanks and energy sipping appliances and lighting; they are affordable to operate too.

As for the roof top deck; besides having killer views, they have also power, cable TV, telephone, water and gas pre-installed out on the deck. Imagine having a roof top garden or pulling the big screen out to watch the game or just relax outside and enjoy the views.

These are must see homes.  Where else in Thurston County can you find a home with this big of a view for under $385,000?

Paul,

These homes are truly unique and have definite appeal, not to mention the killer views.
