A few years ago before we joined Keller Williams Milwaukee office, Pat Morita, the lovable Mr. Miyagi of Karate Kid fame was hired to be a commercial spokesman for the company we were with at that time. They designed a zany ad campaign centered around the character. Each TV spot was 30 seconds long, with about 20 seconds being a template and the last 10 seconds being the customized part of the commercial with a specific agent or two in the shot with Mr. Morita, who would say something clever or catchy with the agent standing slightly behind him trying to look composed but usually looking stiff and scared.

We had the pleasure of meeting this talented comedian who spent 3 or 4 days with our group (the commercials were shot right here in Brookfield, Wisconsin!) and even came to our Christmas party!
He was a really neat guy, and if you don't know much about him, click here for more info. He passed away shortly thereafter, so the ad campaign was ended. But we felt our lives were enriched by having met this silly man with a serious past.
