Depending upon the time of day you travel through this little burb, you can smell the sweet scent of "sweet applewood" , a well known trademark of Patrick Cudahy, a meat packing plant that is a local icon...don't be surprised if your taste buds get overwhelmed and you develop a case of the hungries !

The city is in the process of revitalizing the downtown area with mixed use of condominiums, retailers and the new library. Cudahy is easily accessed by public transportation to downtown Milwaukee...or a scenic drive over the Hoan Bridge and Lake Michigan.
