You don't have to look far to find ways to benefit your community and support causes...this is my own favorite pamper parlor,...and we are leaving shortly to help set up for all the fun, food and pampering you would ever want !

Glo 10 Salon & Spa is opening up Sunday, Oct. 24th for their very first Cut-A-Thon! All proceeds will be going to the ABCD (After Breast Cancer Diagnosis) Foundation. The following services will be offered at a discounted rate:
$8 haircuts
$7 mini manicures
$5 facial waxing
$1 per minute chair massage
$3 tans
$5 mega bed tans

There will be raffles, bake sale, grilling....mmmm....taste great and feel good all at the same time.

ABCD was founded in 1999 by Melodie Wilson a local television personality who was greatly loved and respected, she was diagnosed in 1992 with breast cancer and lost her fight last year and this excerpt from the website:

Melodie believed that the most valuable information and support in dealing with life’s challenges came from others who had experienced similar life circumstances. This is especially true for those diagnosed with breast cancer. Much more than biopsies, surgery and chemotherapy, Melodie knew personally that successfully coping with a breast cancer diagnosis involves addressing a multitude of emotional, relationship and physical difficulties. She founded ABCD: After Breast Cancer Diagnosis in 1999 to provide the service that she and others did not find when she was first diagnosed.
