Hey Tom Braatz, you are one of the successful Waukesha County Commercial Real estate agents. Where do I find the businesses for sale?

As a residential real estate agent in Waukesha County since early 1986 I have met lots of new friends by working with them in selling a home in Waukesha County Wisconsin. I can always sell real estate in other states now but I never forget the people that helped me when I started and it is important to give back. Somewhere around 1989 or so I started selling Commercial real estate for sale in Waukesha County Wisconsin and became one of the Waukesha County Commercial Real estate agents something just clicked like no tomorrow. I did this with finding a mentor (actually a number of them) learning, and taking my CCIM courses. At a time when most were frightened of it I looked at it as another avenue. From selling multi family units, commercial buildings, and more I gained experience. Along the way I bounced everything off my mentors. We are at a time when some might think about diversifying their business and I think that is great. An agent can get their listings in www.costar.com, www.loopnet.com, and www.xceligent .com for free with a limited basic account. I personally like them all for commercial because they all offer such great features, they are national, and they are complete. Recently someone contacted me and said "Okay Tom, but I have buyers that want to buy a business. Where do I go for that.? First, if you are diving into commercial real estate please have a mentor and I would love to help you with any referrals you may. Second, always make sure to have accountants and attorneys of the buyer looking at everything, and thirdly, never be afraid to tell the other agent that you are learning. I did years ago and I found people were pretty kind to me. It's when agents put up walls and knew it all that things came to a stop. Know your material, ask, or have a mentor.

Anyways, if you have buyers that have a business or an idea you can find lots of lenders that will initiate a SBA package. The good thing is you get to find the buyer the real property to put their business in, which if done right will result in a check. For finding businesses all over the United States and especially in your state you will find amazing results at www.sunbeltnetwork.com.
