The building is still for sale. I should know, I've been trying to sell it for my cousin Diane Mahnke Hubing, but with the recession -- it seemed more advantageous to rent it out and keep it going.What was downtown Okauchee without the Four Seasons? It had been a mainstay for over 40 years (as a salon).
According to Millie Babich, in "Gateway to Okauchee" it was one of the first grocery stores that belonged to Walter and Mrs. Schraudenbach. Then it was operated after 1909 as a grocery and post office. It was also known as Walter's Bootery, a shoe store.
