The Wisconsin Realtors Association (WRA) reports that there were fourteen home sales in Ashland County during October of 2011. The average sale price for Ashland County was $90,500.
Neighboring Bayfield County fared slightly better, with a total of fifteen home sales in October of 2011. The average sale price in Bayfield County was $125,000.
There have been twenty or fewer Ashland County home sales per month since the beginning of 2011. A thin market, coupled with little or no lending availability, has resulted in virtually all sales being cash or seller financed. This in turn has pushed sold statistics downward. The year to date average sold price for Ashland County has been $74,500.
