Create Curb Appeal Home Buyers will want to get out of their car,...

even in the rain!

Before you put your home on the market, it's important to be sure it shows at it's very best.

So,... how do you achieve great curb appeal? Here is a couple simple things you can do to ensure your home draws Home Buyers in;

  • Power-wash siding to be sure there is no mold or mildew.
  • Be sure to wash the outside of windows! This will bring the daylight streaming in even on the gloomiest of days.
  • Look all over for any peeling paint, full or detached gutters, repairs needed.

  • Add fresh paint to the front door (and any other warn areas) in a warm welcoming color. color.
  • A fresh door mat makes all the difference in the world, but be sure to keep it simple and not taste specific.
  • Even in our South Central Wisconsin Climate, color can be added with plants and flowers. In the winter think bright berries and evergreens, spring bulbs blossom, summer droughts Sedems and succulents and of course Autumn, there is a blaze of colors in with mums, pansies and zinnias.
  • One of the most important things to take care of is to make sure not only are your house numbers very visible, but that they can easily be seen after dark! Pull up to your house after dark,... can you see the numbers? If you cannot, how do you expect a buyer to?
