Last evening I had the pleasure of witnessing one of the most spectacular sunsets I have seen in a long time. I had just finished an open house at my listing, when I realized how spectacular the clouds were, so I grabbed my camera and hurried outside.
I was standing on the Bluffs above the Mississippi River, on the Wisconsin side in Prescott, with the sun setting over Minnesota. There were some rain clouds to the southwest, which you can see in a few of the photos. All in all, I just had to thank God for letting me witness the splendor. How can he not exist with such beauty in the world?

Don't forget to post this on the Great Shots group.
Hi Jennifer, those pics are SO beautiful! Thanks for sharing!!
Thanks Lee...I didn't know the group existed!
Jennifer, great shots! I especially liked #24
Don - that was the last shot I took as I was driving home. It was so cool to see the last drop of color that I pulled out my camera, had one hand on the wheel, and took the shot through the windshield with the other hand. Kids, don't try this at home. :)
Jennifer, thanks for sharing these sunset photos....Very beautiful...great job!
Very nice pictures. I love to take pictures of sunsets and have a collection from most of the places I have traveled.
I loved looking at these. I want to see the mighty Mississippi myself one day. Hard to believe there is snow on the ground when we'll hit 80 today. I like 19 and 23.
Julie - I would have to say that sunsets are my most favorite subject matter.
Vicki - I took all these photos at a high resolution so I could print out any I liked. I just had a 18 x 20 print done on one so I can frame it and place over my mantle...it came out really well. What better art than something you created!
I think that flowers are my favorite things to photograph. I would love to have some on my table everyday.
Jennifer, really nice work with sunset shots, very nice compoositions, color and exposure. Well done and thanks for sharing. :)
Cheers, -B
Bryce - thanks! This was my best sunset shoot. The clouds were perfect and had just a little rain in them to fluff them up. Not to mention I found a great bluff to shoot from. I literally was a few feet from falling to my death should I have slipped.
