Here is another great reason to hire a property management company to deal with your rentals. Now, I have been hired by the owners of this home to deal with the existing tenant. The owners and tenants had a verbal agreement in place. Yes, I did say verbal agreement. It was not a pretty site.

So, I introduced myself to the new tenants as their property manager. They were quite angry at the owners for hiring me. We moved past that point. I scheduled a walk through to witness the condition of the home. Voila, a picture says a 1,000 words. I had one word when I saw the backyard "WOW!" The tenants told me that they would take care of the backyard.

Well, I will be touring this home without the previous tenants. The owners and tenants went to court this past week to reach a settlement. Both parties are moving on with life. We will be preparing this home for the next tenant.
