Blue Lake Springs is one of the most wonderful subdivision for a Mountain get-a-way in the Sierra Nevada. 
If your looking for mountain recreation for yourself and your family this is the place with a wide range of recreation facilities. Membership, which is mandatory, costs $377.00 per year and includes 2 lakes, swimming pool, 4 tennis courts, basketball courts, badminton, shuffleboard, snack bar and dining at the Snowflake Lodge. The main attraction, snow flake lodge is a 9,000 square foot. member exclusive clubhouse with a full service restaurant serving the some of the best food on the mountain. What is special about this facility is that it operates a summer recreation program from Memorial Day to Labor Day weekend. They also have available many recreational programs and activities such as swimming classes, crafts, movies, theme bingo, water aerobics, campfires, water polo and weekly kids camps. Many home-sites are located on or near the beautiful Sequoia Woods Golf Course and Country Club. 
This private club has reciprocal golf privileges with over 80 courses and offers group or private lessons, golf vacations and an active social calendar. Fee's for the club is $5,500 (includes lst year dues) and yearly dues are $1,500 for non-residents and $1,850 for Calaveras residents. Currently there is a special for membership of $2,900 for the first year. Blue Lake Springs obtains their water from the Blue Lake Springs Mutual Water Company with association with CCWD. The basic water fee is $558.00 per year. Most homes in this area are on individual septic systems. Many people who purchase second homes in Blue Lake Springs place them on vacation rental programs
