bike ride tour for a distance
of 6 miles through the city
of Azusa, CA tomorrow.
Meet at the Historical
Museum north of the
library.
DATE: November 13, 2011
TIME: 2:00 p.m. – 3:30 p.m.
MEETING LOCATION: Veteran's freedom Park 213 E
Foothill Blvd, Azusa, CA
Come one, come all! If you don't have a bike and would
like a loner to participate in the bike ride, call ahead and
reserve a bike. For more information call 626 482-4640.
Participants under 18 years must be escorted by a parent
or a guardian. Children under 8 years should be in a
child carrying device suitable for a bycle ride.
Don't forget to bring a helmet and some water. Dress
appropriately for the weather. If it is a light rain the ride
will continue. If it is a heavy rain the ride will be
cancelled.
Your bicycle should be in good riding order with the
capability to change gears and brake when necessary.
This will be a casual and friendly ride through the city of
Azusa, CA.

The city of Azusa, CA is bringing back the summer beach trips to Huntington Beach, CA on Wednesday July 6, 2011 and Wednesday July 27, 2011.
The bus will depart from Memorial Park 320 North Orange Avenue, Azusa, CA at 8:00 am and return at 5:00 pm. Transportation to and from Huntington Beach will cost $5:00 per person. Children 12 years and younger MUST be accompanied by an adult.
Tomorrow, Tuesday July 5, 2011 is the deadline to register for this activity at the following summer playground sites:

This program is a federally funded program that benefits low income families. HEAP may help you pay for coal, electricity, kerosene, natural gas, oil, propane, wood, or any heating element.
Eligibility is based on your monthly gross income and cannot exceed HEAP income guidelines. Income qualifications can be seen HERE.
HEAP Representatives will be at the Azusa library auditorium, 729 N. Dalton Ave., Azusa, CA 10:00 a.m. — 2:00 p.m., to sign up low-income customers for one free month’s electricity on the following remaining dates:

Original electric bill (current)
Original gas company bill
Copies of all household income (past 30 days)
