August 7 - Local San Francisco based Evolution will rock Danville with hits from Journey.* August 14 - 80s music returns to the Bay Area with retro sounds from the San Francisco band Tainted Love.
August 21 - Waterloo will bring the music of Abba to Danville when this Northern California-based tribute band ignites the Plaza with classics including "Dancing Queen," "Ring Ring" and more.
Concert seating opens at 5pm and is first come, first serve.

DANVILLE, CA - Empire Realty Associates is a major sponsor for Concert for a Cure. Partner, Raelene Sprague has worked with Concert for a Cure for the past 9 years and is on their planning and fundraising committee this year. "I have been involved with Concert for a Cure for 9 years," says Sprague. "It has been a blessing to see when people pull together and care enough that miracles can happen and research can soar!"

Over the past 8 years, a total of $545,000 has been donated to Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy (SMA). Last year alone, over $115,000 was raised thanks to generous supporters. Families of SMA is the largest international organization that promotes research, education, and support to families affected by this.
Families of Spinal Muscular Atrophy is dedicated to creating a treatment and cure by:
• Funding and advancing a comprehensive research program
• Supporting SMA families through networking, information and services
• Improving care for all SMA patients
• Educating health professionals and the public about SMA
• Enlisting government support for SMA
• Embracing all touched by SMA in a caring community
This year Concert for a Cure will take place at the Blackhawk Country Club on May 15. Between an online auction, live event, and monetary donations, every dollar raised helps to bring Families of SMA closer to a cure.
