Affordable Housing in Twin Oaks, California
Six months ago I wrote a post about Affordable Fixer Uppers in a remote area of Kern County, California. Today I received a comment from an ActiveRain Member because of this photo:
It's a Miracle!
The miracle is that Sally Lawrence found this photo, since it didn't have a Title or a Description. It does now, but Sally's comment led me back to my original post and I recognized several other corrections that needed to be made.
It also served as an important reminder of how much stuff is floating around that was generated by the hundreds of posts that I've written on ActiveRain. Which is why I'm reviewing my older posts and pumping them up with better content and SEO. Knowing that ActiveRain is providing Google Juice doesn't mean that we shouldn't maximize the potential of every post and photo.
In terms of Social Networking, Sally's comment made on my post, prompted by our mutual membership with ActiveRain, may have led me to an important business connection. I've added Sally as an Associate and will personally consider her, if I decide to sell My 21 Acre Horseless Ranch in Kern County, CA. Notice how she has already tempted me with her semi-civilized community of Tehachapi. I like her style and have already checked her out on ActiveRain.

Affordable Fixer Uppers In Kern County, California
While driving from Orange County, California to check out our horseless (yes, horseless) ranch in Kern County, California, we noticed a few Affordable Fixer Uppers. With a few minor repairs and a fresh coat of paint, these affordable properties could become the perfect investment for a First Time Homeowner, a couple looking to downsize or as a romantic retreat.
With ageless stone construction, a custom fireplace and a durable sheet metal roof, this cozy charmer will stand up to the strongest push by any man or woman weighing less than 500 pounds.
There is a seasonal stream, that runs all year long, at the front of the property. Once a new bridge is constructed, to replace the old bridge that was washed out, you will have easy access from the nearest parking space conveniently located just a mile down the road.
I will soon be FEATURING additional one of a kind, Affordable Fixer Uppers In Kern County, California, for your consideration.
We had not been to our 21 acre ranch in over a year, and on the spur of the moment, decided to make a quick inspection. Our property is located in Kern County, California and is about 188 miles from our home in Mission Viejo, California. It takes about 3.5 hours with moderate traffic and is a drive back in time.
Our horseless (yes, horseless) ranch is located in a small town called Twin Oaks, which has no gas station. The main building in town, is called TOGS (Twin Oaks General Store). TOGS is a historical building and I will share more about it in future articles. When we purchased our property, there was a statement written on the chalkboard inside of TOGS, that read, "An Armed Community Is A Safe Community; Fewer Jails And More Cemeteries". We happened to pass a new cemetary being built on our most recent trip to Twin Oaks. I will be writing future articles about the town and will highlight some of the main attractions, and the many fine qualities of this small community. If you fancy a rural lifestyle, would like to raise horses or cattle or would like space between you and your neighbors, you should consider Twins Oak, California.
Echo Mountain Ranch, is what we call our horseless (yes, horseless) ranch, and is situated in a development of 20 acre parcels called Piute Springs Ranches. We sold our horse when we purchased our property. The cost of the land in Twin Oaks, and the cost to maintain a horse in Orange County were about the same price. We have now owned our horseless ranch for over 10 years. Over the years, we have done several things toward the development of the ranch, including grading for a 60' round pen, 100' - 200' riding arena, a house pad, a barn pad and a garden pad. We have a 265' deep well, a 10' x 12' TUFF SHED, a 5000 Gallon water storage tank and have a 30' 5th wheel and some perimeter fencing.
Our property is sloped with a mountain at the back and is loaded with beautiful oak trees, pine trees, juniper trees, cactus and tons upon tons of spectacular granite boulders.
I'll continue writing about the area, the sights, the people, the lifestyles and the Real Estate Market in the community of Twin Oaks, located in Kern County, California. It is a beautiful rural haven that features open land and a laid back lifestyle. If that appeals to you, ask me more about Twin Oaks, California.
I don't need to live in Twin Oaks to be able to sell Twin Oaks Property. I live in the hustle and bustle of Orange County, but, if I want to look up and see the Milky Way Galaxy, breathe fresh air, enjoy nature and step back in time, I can always drive to my ranch in Twin Oaks, located in Kern County, California.
