Twenty-five Chino homes were listed for sale during the week ending March 14, 2009, and eleven homes entered escrow, according to the Inland Multi-Regional Multiple Listing Service.
A total of 290 Chino homes were listed for sale in the MLS on March 15. Included were 156 single-family homes not in associations. There were 134 condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in homeowner associations listed for sale in Chino on March 15; 133 listed homes were reported as vacant.
The MLS showed 52 foreclosed, or Real Estate Owned, homes listed in Chino on March 15; 100 others were in pre-foreclosure - listed as "in foreclosure," Notice of Default or Short Pay/Subject to Lender. Please note: The MLS only recently required the type of sale of listed homes to be reported when a listing is entered into the system; the numbers of homes in foreclosure or having a Notice of Default - both of which likely would have short payoffs - does not included previously listed homes.
There were seven Chino homes reported as sold in the MLS during the week ending March 14, 2009.

A total of 282 Chino homes were listed for sale in the MLS on Feb. 22. Included were 155 single-family homes not in associations. There were 1127 condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in homeowner associations listed for sale in Chino on Feb. 22; 122 listed homes were reported as vacant.
The MLS showed 41 foreclosed, or Real Estate Owned, homes listed in Chino on Feb. 22; seven as In Foreclosure, and 11 as having received a Notice of Default. A total of 289 Chino homes were listed for sale in the MLS on Feb. 15. Included were 154 single-family homes not in associations. There were 135 condominiums, townhomes and single-family homes in homeowner associations listed for sale in Chino on Feb. 15; 120 listed homes were reported as vacant.
The MLS listed 6 Chino homes as "In Foreclosure," 12 as "Notice of Default," and 80 as "Short Payoff." In addition, 40 were reported as "Real Estate Owned" - that is, offered by lenders who have foreclosed on defaulted loans. Please note: The MLS does not require the type of sale of listed homes to be reported.
