Ducking The Issue or Birds Of A Feather Walk Together...

Tisza Major-Posner, DRE#01784679: Real Estate Agent in Claremont, CA

Hi All,

A few days ago I rambled about preparing to walk my farm during a rainy day passing out rubber ducks. I said I would let you all know how that worked out. So, here goes... In the style of "Dragnet"... Dum de dum dum...

This is the City... Claremont, California, the furthest edge of Los Angeles County. A quiet collegiate town known more for its seats of higher learning than for challenges to the status quo. But that was before today... The time, 3 PM. The place, a small side-street just off of Arrow Highway. I was prepared for an uneventful but damp day when I got "the call"... "See the woman, on the corner of Arrow Highway, who had her house listed last year with another agent that never sold".

I parked my Prius and hit the streets. First up, the unsold house on the corner. I approached the entrance and knocked a sharp-shave-and-a-haircut-two-bits on the trim. The door opened and I saw the woman. "The names Tisza, your friendly neighborhood Realtor" I said with a grin on my lips and a yellow rubber ducky in my hand. Rubber Ducky

The woman paused for a moment and took in everything from my "Realtor Goddess" rhinestone pin (given to me by my Broker) to my jeans and, finally, my intro brochure and newsletter.

The woman accepted the ducky and the paperwork with a smile of her own. With a lite mist beginning to fall and the threat of rain omnipresent, I turned and with a wave, pressed on.

There were still lots of other homes to visit and lots of other women to see, and see them I did. Step after step, door after door, smile after smile, the results were the same at each stop. I knocked, waited and then presented my ducky.

As the skies darkened and the mist turned to rain the daylight may have dimmed but the prospects have never looked brighter...

... The story you have just read is true... The names haven't been changed to protect anything... This has been a story from the files of the Keller Williams Professional Group.

Take care, help lots of people and have a wonderful "Friday"

Tisza
