It is very satisfying to run into old friends in this business... some aren't so old but you have known them for a long time. I got a call from Linda M. yesterday and it was so fantastic hearing her voice after about six years of being away from the area. We set up an appointment and I'm looking forward to seeing her again... did I say she works for the 6th largest 203k lender in the nation?

If you are going to be involved with the 203k at any level you need to know who can close those loans the fastest with the least amount of confusion and delay. YOUR commission and the borrower's sanity depends on it. Just becasue one lender is great today doesn't mean that lender is the best choice tomorrow. Check with your consultant and ask them who shall we go with this time. In many cases we suggest smaller local lenders because they may be able to get you closed faster but many times it is one of the bigger ones as they have the process down to a science. Just realize it is like a pendulem and it is always changing. What may be the best deal for you this week may not be the next week. Thay is why we exist as consultants to guide you to the process that fits you the best each time you enter.
