December’s Season of Celebrations & Sharing Contest – Scrooge

Scrooge is a high quality production of the classic Dickens story put on annually at Calvary Temple in Concord Ca.

Calvary Temple is the church on the hill to the north of Highway 4 as you cross over the pass from Concord to Pittsburg.

The play is on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday on the Weekends of the 9^th to the 11^th and 16^th to the 18^th. Friday performances are at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 6:00 pm, and Sunday at 4:00 pm.

General Admission seating is still available for $12.00, $8.00 for seniors and children 5 -12. Premier setting is $15.00 and $11.00 for seniors and children 5-12. All setting in the Producers Circle is $20.00.

The Concord Drive in Movie Theater is one of the Last Drive in Theaters in California and is nice with two screens. I used to go there periodically but have not been in a long time.

But we are going to the Concord Drive in Movie Theater this Thursday night. It is Free Family Movie night with Free Admission for everyone and $1.00 Nachos. The movies start around 8. Cars 2 will be on one screen and Transformers on the other screen. The second feature will simply be the movie shown on the other screen now on the side you are on.

We have young kids and it is a school night, but we figure we can do one. Pack Dinner, Pack the Snacks and off we go.

Free is right in our budget and it is an easy way to see movies with a lot of noise and squirming young kids.
