I've found a cool little spot to grab lunch that's a little out of the ordinary.  It's The Veranda cafe at the Green River Golf Club on Green River Road in Corona, California.

Many people don't think of going to a golf course to eat, but this little cafe has some yummy sandwiches and a terrific atmosphere.  They currently have a special running that includes soup and 1/2 sandwich for only $5.50.  You can't beat that with a stick.  You can't eat at McDonalds anymore for $5.50. 

Here's the soup list...
Monday - Chicken Tortilla
Tuesday - Meat Ball
Wednesday - Split Pea
Thursday - Lentil
Friday - Clam Chowder
Saturday - Chicken Noodle
Sunday - Navy Bean

Plan on visiting The Veranda at Green River Golf Club soon... and bring your clubs.  You can run out and hit a bucket of balls before going back to the grind.
