Yoga - My New Year Resolution

Deborah Nance - Reverse Mortgage Consultant in Southern California: Loan Officer in Corona, CA

One of my resolutions was to get into better shape and work on flexibility and balance so, I chose Yoga.

Took my 4th Yoga class tonite at "Just Yoga" in Corona, and it kicked by butt! My legs are trashed. It was most excellent. I brought my son with me cause he wanted to try it. I told him he'd have to pay attention, be calm, quiet and respectful. He was all of those things!

One problem, though - we forgot to tell hubby and daughter we were going and I left my cell phone at home. Luckily they didn't panic and dinner was all ready when we got home.

One of my other resolutions, post more blogs on Active Rain.

This is the best I can do tonight. I'm wiped out, but relaxed and making my goals. Blog and Yoga, both four letter words with Gee!

SOUTH CORONA FRESH & EASY NEIGHBORHOOD MARKET ANNOUNCES DATE FOR GRAND OPENING

Company invites its Corona Neighbors to the opening celebration. Fresh & Easy Neighborhood Market announced it will open the doors to its much anticipated store at Ontario & Rimpau on Wednesday, April 22, 2009. The grocer will bring high-quality, fresh food at budget prices to Corona. Everyone in the neighborhood is invited to attend the store's five day grand opening celebration beginning at 10:00a.m on April 22, 2009.

As part of this Grand Opening Celebration, Fresh & Easy will present a donation to a local non-profit organization as part of the opening. Several weeks ago, the company invited anyone in the neighborhood to visit its website (www.freshandeasy.com/goodneighbor) to nominate a charitable group to receive a $1,000 donation. Opportunities to submit nominations end next week. The store's new employees will vote on submissions and choose the winner to be named at the opening day celebration.

In addition to fresh, high-quality prepared meals and produce, Fresh & Easy offers everyone's favorite national brand products and household items, all at budget prices. Fresh & Easy's own-brand products contain no added trans fats, no artificial colors or flavors, and only use preservatives when absolutely necessary.

As a good neighbor and steward of the environment, Fresh & Easy recycles or reuses all its shipping and display materials and uses environmentally-friendly trailers to transport food. The company is a pilot member of the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Volume Certification Program and has invested in a 500,000 sq ft solar roof installation on its distribution center.

This Fresh & Easy location will employ 20 to 30 people and intends to hire from the local neighborhood. The company provides the opportunity for all employees to work at least 20 hours a week, which entitles them to comprehensive healthcare and competitive benefits. Entry-level positions will pay well over the minimum wage, starting at $10 an hour in California, with a potential quarterly bonus of up to 10%.
