I am so excited to share pictures of this years organic garden. It's only the middle of July but what a harvest we are going to have! Over the last few years we have become quite good at composting and the fertilizer produced seems to be working in our home garden in Corralitos. The compost tea we make gives our vegetables the periodic feeding they need as evidenced by the seven foot tall heirloom tomato plant in our large box. Our home garden consists of two 4x8 boxes and one 8x8 box. As if the original boxes weren't enough we have oozed into other areas of the yard and along the side of the house. Because of our composting practices lots of little surprises grow in our home garden and I can't seem to weed out the the little tomato, melon, yellow squash and pumpkin seedlings. I simply let the seedlings grow, then move them to a new part of our home garden.
