My name is Frederic and I'm located in Imperial County CA and can answer your questions regarding a loan modification.

Why are you asking if it's difficult to complete a loan modification, have you attempted to contact your lender? Have you been given false information from another source?

The news is full of stories regarding loan modifications, most of them, unfortunately are false. Even the Obama FDIC "Making Home Affordable Plan" was bold in proclaiming, "if you have to pay, walk away".

As a REALTOR(r) with a background in consumer and mortgage finance, I was shocked by the claims I was hearing from our own Government. Frankly, I believe it is irresponsible for the government to make such comments. When did it become a bad idea for a company to offer assistance for a fee?

I work with a loan modification firm that can assist you modify your mortgage(s), both the first and second.

As a matter of making sure they are working with a transaction that will be successful, they have a prescreening process to preview your case before you begin and pay any fees.

It's funny how peoples opinions of places are so different than one anothers!

I took a long drive Saturday around Southern California in search of places I have never been. Around 650 miles in 14 hours, and yes I stopped many different places to take photographs, etc.

I went to Big Bear Lake, Lake Arrowhead, Salton Sea and Glamis Sand Dunes. I have never been to one of these places I have mentioned and will post blogs about most of them in the next few weeks.

One place though that really took me by surprise was the Salton Sea. Most of my life I have heard so many different stories about the Salton Sea, that it's ugly, dead fish floating on shore, closed businesses/ homes, etc - etc.

There are quite a few businesses that are closed up and not to many places to shop, gas up your car or eat.

When I first arrived at the Salton Sea and went down to the beach, I thought to myself what happened to this place? So many buildings broken and closed up it was very strange at first. Then I turned away from the buildings and was looking at the beauty of the lake and the wildlife around it.

There were many different species of birds flying around and swimming, I could have spent days there just watching the birds.

The temperature was 85 degrees with a little wind, it was very comfortable!

The Lake was so big that when you went down to the Shore and looked out there was a feeling on loneliness, like a place someone hard forgotten.

I will be going there again soon before temperatures get to hot, pitch a tent and take some more photographs of my new friends.

There is a huge sand dunes park in Glamis - Southern California where everything is wide open, you can see for hundreds of miles.

Glamis is very close to the Mexican Border, Arizona & around 40 miles South East of Salton Sea.

This sunset photograph was taken only minutes from Glamis California and there are another 20-30 other pics to go with this one. The photos are all different and unique in there own way.

I will be going back to Glamis when I have more time and spend a day & night and photograph the sand dunes & activities that go on around there.
