There are many ways how golf is like buying a home
1. You put alittle ball in a little hole a long ways away and you pick a house out of hundreds of homes that are far away.
2. The weather affects you in golf and also in buying a home
3. The equipment in golf makes the game easier and a home with lots of upgrades and comforts makes living easier and more comfortable
4. The view on the golf course makes the round more enjoyable and the view from a home makes living their more enjoyable
5. A more expensive golf course is usually more challenging and costly and a more expensive home is usually more challenging and costly to maintain
6. The more time and energy you spend learning the game, the better the results. The more you learn about homes and the more you view, the better the results in getting a home that is right for you.

A short sale is when a homeowner sells their house for less money than they owe on the mortgage or mortgages.
Short selling is an alternative to foreclosure for homeowners/borrowers who can no longer afford to keep mortgage payments current. Sometimes, to avoid going through the costs of foreclosure, a lender will
authorize a short sale by allowing a homeowner to sell the home for less than the mortgage owed.

Fourth Annual Bicycle Rodeo and Safety Fair
February 25, 2012
Bicycle Rodeos were one of my favorite events growing up-- I'm happy to report that La Quinta is hosting their 4th Annual event this month!
The La Quinta Police Department Traffic Services Team is hosting their Fourth
Annual “Bicycle Rodeo and Safety Fair” on Saturday, February 25. A bike rodeo
is a one-day training event that provides an opportunity for young bicyclists
to practice and develop skills that will help them become better bicyclists and
avoid typical crashes.
WHAT IS A BICYCLE RODEO?
It features safety inspections, rules of the road, and helmet safety. The goal is to
empower young cyclists, with a minimal set of skills, for on-road riding. Free
bicycle helmets will be given while the supply lasts.
RIDE THE BICYCLE SAFETY COURSE
Young cyclists will experience riding on a miniature course where they can learn
how to apply the rules of the road. An officer will point out hazards and offer
safety tips. Riders will learn about blind corners, stopping at stop signs, staying
off sidewalks, yielding to pedestrians, intersections, crosswalks, and driveways.
HERE ARE THE DETAILS!!!
What? Fourth Annual Bicycle Rodeo and Safety Fair
When? February 25, 2012 (Saturday)
Time? 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Where? La Quinta Park (Adams Street and Blackhawk Way)
