Losing your home to foreclosure is a painful experience, no question about it. After surviving that trauma, you are left to deal with a damaged credit record that can take years to repair. Even worse, though, is the common opinion that foreclosure is the result of irresponsible behavior on your part.
There is some good news, though! Transunion, the credit reporting company (really!), discovered some interesting evidence in a recent study of these questions -
•1. Does a foreclosure on your record predict a future of missed payments and defaults? The answer - not necessarily!
•2. Is there a difference in later payment problems between those who lost their homes as a result of a one-time event and those who have had a history of payment problems? The answer - yes!
What they discovered was this: people who maintained good payment records prior to the one major event that led to their current credit problems went back to their good habits after foreclosure.
Lenders, sellers and landlords should be aware of these different behavior patterns. Carefully review the credit records and current situations of potential buyers or tenants. Don't lose out on a potential successful transaction, not to mention the opportunity to help a fellow man (or woman) to get back on their feet after financial trauma.

Pictures From My Walk at The Beach Today.....

These pictures were taken today once I was doing my 3 mile walk.. I walked from Capistrano Beach to the Dana Point Harbor. My favorite picture is the Tiki Hut.. My camera isn't anything highend. I just used the camera on my droid, which I am surprised by how sharp the quality is.
Happy Tuesday everyone.. Hope you all had a great day.

Olemendi's Mexican Restaurant-Capistrano Beach, CA.
This restaurant has been family owned and operated since it's grand opening in 1973. The menu includes recipes handed down from multiple generations. There are several locations in Orange County but the original, and my favorite is located right off the coast, along the PCH, on Capistrano Beach, in Dana Point, CA.
Once you first walk into the restaurant, I will warn you, you will find it a little bit creepy. You have nicely dressed skeletons on one wall, you have a tree with a dieing Jesus carved in it on on another wall, and odds and ends, knick knacks, family pictures, etc. everywhere else there is space.
But then they bring you the chips and salsa!!! (My favorite by the way..) You take your first bite out of the chips and salsa (all homeade) and just focus on the ocean view, and a few of their Olemendi's brand beers (Rasberry Ale or the Pale ale are my favorite) later and you completely forget that there is a Teletubby or Darth Vader hanging above your head.
The entree's are quite awesome as well.. I personally like Enchilada Poblano's.. Which is enchiladas with chicken and covered with their homeade Mole' sauce and served with rice and refried beans.. Sooo good!! Their fajita's are really good as well. The prices are decent just depends on what your looking to get.
If you live in the area or just plan on visiting this is definately a place I would highly reccommend going to. Also if you are looking to buy or sell your next home in the South Orange County area give me a call (949) 350-8922, and we will discuss over lunch what I can do to assist you. :)

Wordless Wednesday-Chillin Out!!!
I woke up ridiculously early this morning and farmed an apartment community in Dana Point, Ca. this place probably had a little over 350 units, and it took me well a little over three hours, without a break, without any coffee to complete... So you can pretty much say I am a little exhausted right now.. But after I got done farming, went briefly to Starbucks and got a Passion Tea Lemonade with two raw sugars and decided to go to Capistrano Beach and just chill out!

This is one of the few beaches in Orange County that actually has alot of rocks on the beach, they will typically clear these rocks out right before summer time, it does make it a little difficult and a bit painful to walk on the beach barefoot but there are some really neat rocks on this beach and if you just want to sit down and take in the scenery it does help keep the sand from getting on your booty.

You gotta love this view...

And this one... I could just sit out here all day, I love the being outdoors, I love letting the vitamin D from the sun absorb in my skin and get those happy molecules pumping...

I actually made my first video blog or what is intentionally supposed to be a video blog.. But Wordless Wednesday style.. Meaning without me speaking.. I am a little shy about video blogging.. I am still convinced the world is not ready for video blogs from Stacey Smith just yet so just as movies started silent, Stacey's video blog will start without her girly voice with a hint of a midwestern twang . I will post the video I made today once it actually uploads to my youtube channel.. Happy Wednesday Everyone!
