This Blog officially makes my 100,000th point here on Active Rain. I wanted this Blog to be especially sentimental. I began thinking about the things that matter to me: family, friends, and my wife (of course).
I am much too busy for bars and clubs...so...okay...I met my wife on the internet. It was a dating site for singles. I saw her picture and then I read her profile (this was my first impression of her). Like it or not, I had my first impression of her BEFORE I even met her or spoke to her. I know that it doesn't sound fair. However, in the internet realm...your profile is your first impression.

Having said this, let me ask you a few important questions:
-Is your picture professional and current?
-Did you take the time to relly show WHO you are?
-Is the information on your profile true and accurate?
-Does the information stand out from the others?
-Does your profile help the potential Client CONNECT with
you as a person?
My wife Tania said that she liked my smile (picture) and that she felt like she already knew me before we met (who I am). She also said that most guys lied on their profiles (true and accurate). Finally she said that she really felt connected to me BEFORE we had even met (connection). Each and every human being is terrifically unique and great in their own way. That is how we stand out: by being ourselves.
