About Fresno's Figarden Loop

Figarden Loop Park in Northwest Fresno opened in January of 2010. They have built it and they are coming!!! We drive by this Field of Dreams located at 4265 W. Figarden Drive many times a day and my youngest daughter, is always at awe at the number of children playing in the playground area of the park everyday!!! Her Grandpa has taken her a couple of times, but she really wants a day at the park with mom and her sisters. In order to shoot the video below, I had to go at 8 in the morning on a weekday. This park has been a hit with the residents in the neighborhood. It was obviously long overdue!!!

The park features a huge, wonderful baseball field, with sunken dugouts, bullpens and hitting cages on both sides. There are shaded bleachers and even a separate area for the scorekeepers. There are signs however, that this is a "game field only" and you have to make reservations. I believe the Bullard Babe Ruth league will be utilizing this amazing field this season.

Among other fun features of this park is the playground areas and a splash park!!! Early in the morning you will see some of the fitness bootcamps working out here as well. There are some great walking areas down in the adjoining ponding basin that is now open as well. Whether your coming to play your game, cool down in the splash park, play on the playground or exercise, you can be sure you will enjoy this fabulous new Fresno Park.
