I am lucky to live in such a place. Where is that you ask? It is Glenoaks Canyon in Glendale Calif. As a Realtor who lives in the canyon, I know how unique this place is. Close to everything, yet relaxed and laid back, it is a long dead-end canyon with approximately 800 homes. Many people here live in their homes for decades. I purchased my own home a few years back from a woman who had lived here for 50 years! My Spanish home was built in 1928 and I am only the 3rd owner. My new listing in Glenoaks canyon at 2541 Hollister Terrace was owned for 43 by the same person. We got the home into escrow in only a week and have multiple offers!

The buyer is excited to be a part of this unique community. There is a voluntary home owners association called G.O.C.H.A. They host events for residents including a dog show and parade in the spring called the Bow Wow Pow Wow, a free pancake breakfast in the fall, a Halloween extravaganza where the close off Hollister street, and much more!
