A few days ago the City of Los Angeles demolished a privately owned home that was allegedly a home base for drug dealing and gang activity. Article from Eastern Group News HERE
The vacant property had been listed for sale at $565,000 in 2006, then at $399,000 at the end of 2007. I wasn't able to find a current listing.

I understand and agree that the City absolutely has to crack down on drug and gang activity.
On the other hand, I am a little uncomfortable with what is happening to the property owner's rights. And speaking as a property owner myself, I ~know~ how very difficult it can be to remove problem tenants.

There are two things that make Bradley Court stand out in Monterey Hills.
First, it's the only PUD (Planned Unit Development) in Monterey Hills. It consists of 16 spacious homes with their own garages and their own individual style.
Second, built in 2001, Bradley Court is the last property complex built on the hill, making it the newest.
These beautiful PUD style homes offer majestic views and a lot of interior space. Most are 3 bedrooms and 3 baths with over 1,600 sq. ft. A little private yard, a gourmet kitchen, bathroom with a spa are just some of the amenities of Bradley Court.
Bradley Court homes were selling originally in the $800,000 range. There was a recent sale, a short sale, that closed a few months ago for $655,000. Because there are only 16 units in this very small Monterey Hills complex, it's very rare to see a Bradley Court come up for sale on the Montere Hills real estate market.
Feel free to check the current available Monterey Hills listings here.

As most of my loyal readers know, I love Monterey Hills. I used to live in Monterey Hills. My parents still live in Monterey Hills. And, what most of you do not know is that I started my real estate career, sort of, in Monterey Hills. I used to show the Monterey Hills condo models when Huntington Terrace and Hudson Terrace was first built back in the early 80s. I was, yes, a hostess. :-)

So when you are ready to buy your first condo in Monterey Hills what should you look for?
Make sure to hire a real estate agent that is familiar with the history of Monterey Hills and can guide you through the process of buying in the Monterey Hills.
If I can be of any assistance with your Monterey Hills Real Estate needs, please do not hesitate to email me at Irina@Irina4RealEstate.com or call me at (626)627-7107. Thank you!
