I Wanted to Go GREEN, but Instead I Saw Lucky John ~

There were so many things you could have seen this weekend at the 2010 GREEN EXPO in Huntington Beach, CA, and includes Lucky John, a real-life circus performer!

Lucky John has been performed nearly his entire life, and as the pictures demonstrate, this is no joke!

I personally watched Lucky John hammer a 5 inch steel nail into his nose... I'm not kidding... and then pull it out with a hammer! And while you may be thinking to yourself, "What's so GREEN about that?", let me tell you!

Nothing... okay, that's not exactly true. No electricity was used for his act, no water was wasted, no greenhouse gases were emitted, and no waste was created. It was good, ol' fashioned fun, and everyone had a blast watching the show.

Huntington Beach, CA is an amazing place, and there is simply so much to do and see, that I'm sure I will spend several years trying to tell you all about it!

The 3rd Annual Huntington Beach Green Expo moves to Pier Plaze this year! The Green Expo is an all day FREE event, sponsored by the Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce and by the City of H.B., and is packed full of vendors, small businesses, and... REALTORS!!!

That's right, the Orange County GREEN Task Force will be on hand, so come see our booth (#9 I think) from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm down by the pier near Duke's and Sandy's Beach Grill. This is the perfect time to ask a Green Realtor questions about Tax Rebates, Tax Incentives, and tricks of the trade for "Greening" your home!

Visitors to the Green Expo will learn about important green issues, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, water conservation and quality, utilizing recycled materials, reducing greenhouse gases and producing organic products. And why do you want to Green your home? EASY! Lower your water bill, your electric bill, and even your gas bill!!! Want to know how?

Then come down and see me tomorrow! I'll be there from 9:00 am until 2:00 pm. And if you can't make it until after 2:00 pm, that's okay, there will be other Orange County Green Realtors there who will be happy to answer your questions! This free event is designed to educate residents and businesses on the benefits of "Going Green" by providing everyday solutions for people to live better, healthier lives and have less of an impact on our environment.

Pacific Shores - New Homes in Huntington Beach, CA - Coming Soon!

With Autumn fast approaching, construction continues at Pacific Shores, one of the last new construction home projects in Huntington Beach, CA, and along coastal Orange County.

The perimeter wall is up and advertisement banners surround the project. Many buyers have asked if "the project will be gated"? Or "will there be Mello-Roos?" Well as you can see above, "YES" the community will be gated, and "NO", there will not be Mello-Roos! While there will be HOA dues, they are expected to be extremely low considering the location and maintenance requirements of such a fantastic project!

The models are nearing completion, and the builder is on pace for a Grand Opening in late October, 2010. These dates are subject to change, but everyday the project moves one step closer toward model completion.

PACIFIC SHORES ~ A New Home Development in Huntington Beach, CA, built by Christopher Homes

Feel the cool ocean breeze blowing up from Pacific Coast Highway into this heavenly 201-Home Gated Community in Huntington Beach, CA. Orange County, the OC, is famous for its desirable location and beautiful new homes, and Pacific Shores will be no exception.

Both neighborhoods model homes are currently under construction, and openings are anticipated in late 2010.
