So let’s talk about the sexy new social-networks-you-must-be-on-or-risk-becoming-irrelevant-again, GooglePlus and Spotify. For me, GooglePlus is currently a waste of time – 300 friends, all REALTORS®. So why would I, as a practicing REALTOR®, spend time on it?

Spotify, on the other hand, is a different story. A music social network that uses Facebook as a hub, it’s more my style, and I’ve got a ton of friends on it! Friends and clients that are a part of my sphere of influence (aka: peeps that make me money). Plus, music is my passion outside of Real Estate, a commonality I share with many of these friends and clients. Not only am I engaging with these, sharing music and playlists with each other, the top of mind REALTOR awareness is there. It’s the perfect combination of passion and business that puts me at the forefront of my sphere.
