There are many walking and biking paths around the lake, as well as picnic tables and barbecue pits, and you can even rent a boat and cruise around the lake doing a little fishing. Or bring your own boat!

I enjoy walking around feeding the birds. There are mallards, Canada geese (note that birds do not have nationalities, so they are not Canadian geese!), swan geese, and American coots. Lots and lots of American coots. They leave during the winter, but they come back in full force for the summer, and they always know who has the food:
