Kaufman and Broad, more commonly known now as K & B, built a series of one and two story, and tri-level homes from 1968-1969. At the central east part of town, this community is popular with employees of Lawrence Livermore National Laboratories and Sandia National Laboratory, which is less than 1 mile away.
