There are presently 96 listed condos for sale on the Wilshire Corridor.
Three units have been on the market for over two years: two at La Tour, and one at the Marie Antoinette.
Four units have been on the market for over one year: one at The Californian, one at La Tour, one at The Remington, and one at 10560 Wilshire.
12 units have been on the market for over 6 months.
7 units are listed as Short Pay (I am relying on the MLS here): two at the Marie Antoinette, one at 10560 Wilshire, one at The Mirabella, one at Wilshire Selby East, one at Wilshire Selby West, and one coming up at The Grand.
There is one foreclosure noted in the MLS, at The Wilshire Holmby.
One bedroom condos
16 are available from $310,000 to $799,000, with homeowners dues from $500,000 at the Wilshire Selby West, to $2,233 at The Wilshire Terrace.
Two bedroom condos
48 units are available from $355,000 at The Churchill, to $3,100,000 at Blair House. Homeowners dues from $549 at the Wilshire Marquis to $2,987 at The Californian.
Three bedroom condos
There are 20 units available from $399,000 at the Marie Antoinette to $13,795,000 at The Carlyle. Homeowners dues from $1,283 at the Marie Antoinette to $3,370 at The Remington penthouse.
Four bedroom condos
There are 4 units from $735,000 at The Westholme to $11,995,000 at The Californian. Homeowners dues from $1,610 to $3,409.16 respectively.
The new Beverly West is not included in the above overview.

The Wilshire Corridor Condo Market report for 2011 is based on units of 2 bedrooms and up, not including penthouses. This will provide a more realistic picture. For sales by numbers of bedrooms check out each individual Wilshire Corridor building page over the next few weeks.

The Wilshire Corridor, also known as The Golden Mile, is an approximately 2-mile stretch of luxury condominium buildings which runs from just east of Westwood Village to the west side of the Los Angeles Country Club.

If you are looking for the ultimate in luxury then consider a condominium on The Wilshire Corridor and prepare to be pampered beyond your wildest dreams. Many of these buildings have full amenities, including 24-hour valet and concierge service, swimming pool, spa, fitness center, conference rooms, entertainment lounge, and a few even have a tennis facilities. Maids units can also be purchased in some of the buildings.
Located in the heart of Westwood in Los Angeles, the Corridor is bordered by the wealthy communities of Beverly Hills to the east, and Holmby Hills and Bel Air to the north. Westwood itself is the home of U.C.L.A. and has a mixture of high and medium-priced single family homes, condominiums and rental units.
Prices on the Wilshire Corridor run from the low $300,000s for a one bedroom in a basic building to, $14 million in a Class A Building, usually for a penthouse. There is presently a 3 bed 3.5 bath, 5,5199 sq. ft. pentouse listed at The Carlyle for that price. Homeowners dues can average from the mid to high $1000s (there are a few lower) and can go up to $3,500 per month or more.
Often these condominiums are leased, a wonderful way to find out if this kind of living is for you.
But you cannot beat the Wilshire Corridor condominium life. Views are spectacular, the service exceptional, and the security unbeatable.

I often get calls from people wanting to rent on the Wilshire Corridor. Unfortunately, they don’t realize how much it, in fact costs to rent there.
There are apartments available but when you think of the Wilshire Corridor you are basically thinking of the condo buildings where the units are privately owned. Remember that the owners of these condos are paying high home owners dues which needs to be factored into the rent. These dues, which they are paying for their renter, cover all the wonderful amenities that the lucky renter is going to get. The higher the dues, the more the renter is going to be paying and, ultimately receiving.
Let’s break down what is available for rent on the Wilshire Corridor right now.
