January 20, 2010 and ongoing - Ironstone Vineyards Museum - Benitoite Exhibit, presented by local winemaker, Brett Keller. This is an awesome collection of our very own official California Gem Stone, found only in California. They are stunning blue crystals in their natural rock formations. Brett has put together a very educational presentation of these rare stones that would be of interest to any California Native as well as rock hounds and the curious. Exhibit runs through February. Also in the Heritage Museum, the newly published "Into the Earth, A Wine Cave Renaissance" by Daniel D'Agostini. This is a stunning coffee table book loaded with breathtaking photos.
