Today Bank of America hosted an online webinar for Realtors and other industry professionals. They discussed their short sale system, and a brief demo of their new Equator file submission system.

One interesting tip: the negotiator can "escalate" files if there is a Trustee Sale date imminent. I would like to find out if this strategy has been tried by my fellow colleagues here at ActiveRain?

Who's on your DREAM Team?

NO this blog is not about sports. It's about YOU and your business. The BIG picture. The vision. And getting there.

A couple weeks ago when I was listening to a tele-seminar hosted by BRO (By Referral Only) Joe Stumpf, guest speaker Pat Larson showed step-by-step how she successfully hosts a 1st-time buyer workshop each month. One of the key things she said was that she has a TEAM for this event. Her team includes: (1) her real estate company (2) a mortgage lender (3) a home inspector & (4) a title company rep. Each team member speaks at the workshop, AND is required to support the monthly workshop. Both financially and by inviting guests.

Pat's words of wisdom were, "You need a TEAM to complete your DREAM." In other words, if you don't have a team, you'll never fulfill your dream -- because a DREAM is bigger than just 1 person.

So who's on your team? Any small business owner or entrepreneur should have the following TEAM MEMBERS:

Assistants/Contractors:

  2. IT Expert
  3. Bookkeeper
  4. Marketer

  3. Insurance Agent

Who is a good workout partner? Someone to whom you are accountable to. Someone who makes you grow and stretch. Someone that shares your ambition. Not necessarily in the same profession, but certainly not your spouse! ;)

Even if you can't go out and hire an executive assistant, maybe you can use a Virtual Assistant or a Transaction Coordinator? Be creative and find mentors who can steer you towards other visionary people to complete your TEAM!
