Playa Vista is a Westside neighborhood on 1,087 acres full of parks and very dog friendly. Its boundaries are approximately Lincoln Boulevard on the west, Ballona Creek on the north, McConnell Avenue on the east, and Teale Street on the south. Celadon Gardens allot community plots to residents to grow their own fruits and vegetables. Concert Park boasts amphitheater-style music performances and Movies in the Park. Crescent Park is a ¼ mile long esplanade for your morning jog. Fountain Park is a beautiful tiled fountain sanctuary. Longwood Park is an off-leash dog park and nicknamed Bark Park. Oberrieder Park has off leash areas for large and small dogs, two ½ basketball courts, an exercise course and a paddle tennis court. Sports Park is the place to go for the Little league baseball field, two tennis courts, two ½ basketball courts, a soccer field, a playground, picnic areas and exercise stations. Spyglass Park is where you go for a great view of the wetlands. Sunset Park has game tables, rocking chairs and hammocks and is the destination for the best sunset view of the wetlands. Westwind Park is a tribute to the local wildlife with 180 species of birds living at the Freshwater Marsh. The CenterPointe Club has two swimming pools, fitness facilities, activity rooms, a screening room, a sundeck and business services.
Playa Vista also has shopping and workplaces right in the neighborhood. The Shops at Concert Park (which even includes a Medical and Dental Center), Electronic Arts, The Shops at Fountain Park and Coldwell Banker give this neighborhood diversity and everything you need in one location. Playa Vista provides an oasis for nature lovers and is an ideal place for raising a family.
