When you think of California it’s easy to think of Hollywood or Disneyland, and those are interesting, but Deer Creek is where the real fun is. Am I biased? Absolutely! Deer Creek is a gorgeous neighborhood in Rancho Cucamonga, CA and I’ve watched it grow and evolve over the years.
Not only do we get that famous Southern California sunshine, we're also close to wine tasting, upscale shopping, golfing (at a course designed by Arnold Palmer, no less); we’re close to skiing and snowboarding and NASCAR… I literally could go on for pages.
The real crown jewel, however, is going horseback riding through some of the most beautiful landscape in So California. I took some pictures of the equestrian trails here in and around Deer Creek, so you can see for yourself what I mean ( I’m not exaggerating)!

So, if you're ever in the Rancho Cucamonga area, stop on by! :-)

Have you ever had an Agent send in an offer for your listing, and after you get it accepted, they rescinded their offer?
What to learn from this one?
Just finished sending over the confirmation of a cancellation of offer...from an Agent who initially called and called, then when I called back, ignored me for a day, then called back and said, "Sorry, I couldn't call you back, I was busy." Hmmmmm
It gets better, this agent then told me that they were going to scan over the offer, but since they were leaving the office and they saw a fax number in my listing, that they'd fax it....I checked fax next morning, NO FAX. So then I called back, had to leave a message, (and did so politely) letting them know that I had not received their client's offer via fax. They replied within 3 hours and said would email....that afternoon I received via email....and immediately forwarded to my clients to review. All is going well at this point.

Next, a day or so later, my clients and I met to sign the offer and it was "accepted". No counters, which meant it was written in a very satisfactory manner...(NICE JOB, NICE OFFER) only problem was, once we accepted, they had to have another person involved in the purchase, come visit the home and "approve" of it....

Do you write your offers this way?
I am not really mad, just disappointed. This scenario could happen to any of US!
When I heard the sob story from the agent and how FAKE it was, that's probably what upset me the most...and of course, I felt bad for my clients...and we are now moving forward....it's a difficult business sometimes and it's our job TO ROLL WITH THE PUNCHES that are thrown our way. Each experience makes us BETTER...STRONGER...AND MORE PREPARED (AND FASTER TOO, for Those BIONIC FANS!) for the Next Transaction.
My Biggest Lesson:
Remember to be grateful...this is a good problem to have.

Have you had a client who tests your patience? Understanding? Expertise? Of course. We all have.

What are some of the things that sets you apart from your local competition?
Maybe you'll try where others give up?
Maybe you work extra hours and pride yourself in "being there" for your client whenever they need you?
What's going to give you that extra edge that will make a difference for you and your clients?
It's important to remember not to let situations, or changes in the economy, in business or the way it's done, get in the way of our humanity right now.
I am going to love every customer as if they are the last one I have. I WILL.
Afterall..
What we can control, we do.
What we can't control, we let go of...
It's that easy.
Let's keep it simple out there for one another and ourselves.
Isn't it through love that many obstacles have been overcome?
Just a thought.
I am Love.
Happy (Love) Week Fellow Professionals!!

There is alot of controversy going on and mostly distress in many people's lives right now...or at least that what it seems like to me. There is either financial stress, uncertainty distress or ?
What are some of the ways that you can keep yourself calm and good?
1) Honesty ~ Be honest about things and you'll get further and also it will help you feel better and hopefully resolve your issues faster.

2) Keep Going ~ My Beloved Grandmother (and Second Mom raised me since I was 10) used to tell me in Italian, "Tira Avanti!"...which means Press On!! You certainly can't get anywhere if you're not moving in any direction, right?
3) Be kind to others ~ I think kindness goes a very long way. I remember the few times when I have met someone who I didn't think was kind, sincere and maybe even cold....and also, what that made me feel like walking away from them....not so fun! The Golden Rule (do unto others...) ROCKS!
4) Keep yourself HAPPY ~ What kind of things or simple pleasures (usually free) make you happy? DO THEM!! (at least once a day)
5) Reward Yourself ~ When you deserve a break or a reward, do something kind for yourself...Pamper Yourself, Take Yourself to a Movie, Take a Breather and a Walk and Enjoy Nature...

Happy Times!!
