Have you ever had a friend who is related to one of your clients? What do you do? Or better yet, what do you do when you have a client who tells you I appreciate your efforts but I think I am kind of obligated to working with my relative on whatever I buy.....
Referral Fee? Why not? Especially if you want to have them as a client or get that deal. I think it's a win-win. The relative will surely appreciate you doing that, too.

I am here working out of my home office today and can't ignore the beautiful sound of the windchimes on my porch. It inspired me!!
Isn't it funny how you can get a great feel when you hear something as simple as a windchime?
It made me start thinking about "staging" my client's homes.
Here are my Questions:
1) Do we recommend a nice windchime on our upcoming listings?
2) If so, Front/Back Porch or both? (or neither)
What are your thoughts on windchimes? I normally leave them or thin them out if they have too many (more than two). But this made me think to actually tell them to add a windchime, especially if the area they live in gets an afternoon breeze!

Windchimes are a very personal touch, or can be. I actually have one that has crystall/acrylic looking prisms on it with crosses and then one with pigs....too funny about the pigs. It was a gift from a dear friend though who's mother had given to him...so it meant more. ( I have included them here for your enjoyment )
In "It's a Wonderful Life" do your remember how they say every time you hear a bell ring, an angel earns it's wings...? Let your Listings Ring Ring Ring....all the way into escrow and closing! That's the way we like to do it.
Happy Staging & Selling!
